De Hoge Veluwe National Park is unique in the world due to its combination of natural beauty and art. It’s the ideal place not only to experience peace and quiet, see exceptional landscapes and wild animals, but also to take part in organised activities such as excursions, guided tours, workshops and events. The awe-inspiring natural beauty of the 5,400-hectare Park can also be explored on your own, such as on one of the 1.800 free White Bikes. The different landscapes are continually changing: as you travel through the Park, you’ll go through varied woods, across heathland, grassland and exotic shifting sands.

De Hoge Veluwe National Park symbolises fantastic flora and fauna, awe-inspiring landscapes, art and architecture. A magnificent example of art and architecture can be found in Jachthuis Sint Hubertus, the former country residence of the founders of the Park, Anton and Helene Kröller-Müller. The Jachthuis is one of the most important buildings in the Netherlands, guided tours of the most important rooms in the Jachthuis are given daily.

De Veluwe is the place to spot wildlife! Look for the Dutch 'Big Five': red deer, wild boar, roe deer, fox and Scottish highlander.

The museum is home to top works by modern masters including Vincent van Gogh, Claude Monet, Georges Seurat, Pablo Picasso and Piet Mondriaan. 

If you decide to explore the Park by bike, you’ll find more than 40 kilometres of cycle paths to use. You can take your own bike or borrow one of the 1.800 free White Bikes.
