Doorwerth Castle is a medieval castle where you can still feel the atmosphere of former life on the estate. All four of the castle's collections are worth seeing: the Dutch Hunting Museum, the decorated castle rooms, Museum Veluwezoom and the National Forestry Collection. In addition, surrounding the castle are a vegetable garden, an orchard with apiary and numerous hiking trails. Its location in water and hill country is unique and is perfect for biking and hiking.
Hospitality
The cozy Castle Cafe De Zalmen is located in the front castle. You can go there for lunch, coffee, tea, a snack and a drink. De Zalmen is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and on the days the castle is also open on Mondays.

Accessibility
Visitors with a walker, wheelchair or mobility scooter can visit the paths around the castle and the kitchen garden free of charge. Around the castle there are several tours suitable for disabled people. In addition, walking chairs are available for loan at the castle. Walkers, wheelchairs or mobility scooters cannot enter the castle. The toilets and the castle store are less accessible.
Parking
Free parking. However, in case of activities a parking fee can be charged.
