Transformation
The museum will undergo a transformation in the coming years. There will be more space for exhibitions, education and visitor’s facilities, in addition to the building from 1873 that was built as a gentlemen’s club and opened as a museum in 1920. Museum Arnhem is closed during the rebuilding. It was designed by Benthem Crouwel Architects. In the autumn 2019 the museum opens its doors again.
